So much has gone on since my last post - summer camp for the boys, vacation, Tyler starting kindergarten (!), Evan starting his last year of preschool (!), etc.!! We'll explore those things soon. But the most important thing TODAY, is that it is our anniversary!!
Twelve - TWELVE!! years ago today, I married the most amazing man. You think when you get married that you are the most in love you could ever be. But you're wrong. I had always heard people say that they are "more in love now than when they got married", and I would think, how is that possible?? But now I know.
It's not just "more in love", it's a different kind of love. One strenthened by time, triumphs, struggles. One shaped by experiences - together, and apart. One deepened by the birth of children and the creation of a family unit. If someone asked me to tell them how much in love I am with Mitch, I couldn't answer them. It is immeasurable.
So here's to us!! Let's go another 50 years, shall we?? xoxo
