Makes for a good morning laugh for the rest of us though!
Not like the first time I handed Tyler a fork and he started chowing down with it like he'd been doing it his whole life. I do realize that he and Evan are very different and I mustn't use Tyler's every milestone as a standard. Sometimes I have to remind myself of that. All this is not to say that I for one second think that Evan is behind because that couldn't be further from the truth. I think it's actually that Tyler is usually a little bit ahead!
Meanwhile, Tyler's obsession with the vacuum cleaner comes to a screeching halt the moment it is turned on. It may be the only thing he's afraid of... In any case, this is the ONLY time he doesn't want to be in the same room as Daddy:

In other developments, Evan has graduated from the high chair to his very own booster seat!

[If you are wondering what they are looking at, they are watching a DVD on Mitch's laptop on the kitchen table. Probably Baby Einstein or Thomas, or Johnny and the Sprites. The DVD player that was hooked up to the TV finally died. It was the very first DVD player we ever got - I don't even remember how many years we've had it, so it didn't really owe us anything.]
This doesn't mean that Evan is completely ready for the the high chair to be put out to pasture...

I guess Tyler isn't quite ready either...

Regardless, I'm giving that thing a good cleaning and it's going in the yard sale pile! The Kingstowne semi-annual yard sale is May 16th and I'm hoping to make even more money than I did last September.
Here's some fun video of Tyler playing with Mr. Potato Head.

This is just a picture I really like of Evan looking sporty with a cell phone:

It still amazes me how much he looks like a little boy now (instead of a baby) since he got his hair cut!! Too cute.
And the shot of the week - after resisting a nap all morning on Saturday, he finally passed out on the couch.
This weekend, my mom is coming for a visit!!! I need to get video of it, but when I ask Tyler "Who's coming on Friday?" He says "Mimi!!" It's very cute. I'm hoping the weather will be nice enough for us to get outside. Who am I kidding? We'll probably spend the whole weekend at Target... :)
Happy Wednesday everyone.

Yup, just a little shaggy! And ever since I did that not so great bang trim several weeks ago, Mitch kept saying he looked like he had a mullet and I couldn't have that!! Here is the big event:

Evan was such a good boy!! He sat still for the whole time, well, until the very end when he'd finally had it. He didn't even freak out at the buzzer. And now my baby boy doesn't look like a baby anymore. :(

Walks always involve snacks - Puffs for Evan, and Goldfish for Tyler, as he is demonstrating in the above photo.

Tyler LOVES the swing. He'd stay on it all day if we'd let him.
Hold on pal!! First there is an introduction from the instructor that we all have to listen to.
Cam is about 6 weeks younger than Evan, but he outweighs him by quite a few pounds! He's a big boy - sooooo cute!! Here's a flashback of Evan and Cam from last spring:
Time to get into the water!
If you look really closely at that one, you can see the smile on Evan's face. He loved it!!
He looks like he's sleeping here, but it was just a bad shot!

And Tyler took over a 2 1/2 hour nap in his crib! All the while I worked on all the laundry that hadn't been done since before I went to California. Whew!! I'll be at that all day....
and Thin Mints:
