And a first taste of cow's milk!
Unfortunately, we all had to go to work/daycare today, but the fun continued at dinner!
But Tyler wasn't having any of that, so Evan conceded and moved into his own high chair for a delicious dinner of turkey sticks, sweet potato puffs, and green beans! He's really into green beans right now...
Here are the lame cupcakes I quickly frosted for us to enjoy after dinner. We'll have a cake on Saturday at the party...
And now, some documentation of the big event.
Tyler enjoyed his cupcake too,
But he especially enjoyed watching his brother eat his!

And then things got really messy.....

It was pretty darned fun - for all of us!!
Ah, much better!!! Here's a funny face:
Guess he was still pretty hopped up on the sugar :)!! But luckily, it didn't take too much effort to get him to go to sleep.Happy Birthday, my sweet miracle baby. I hope you had a fun day and that the rest of your life is everything you want it to be and more! I love you!
No smile (just like last year), but at least he didn't cry! And check out how crafty Santa was in holding Evan's hand to keep his fingers out of his mouth. The guy's a pro.
First things first: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCHMOOPIE!!!! Today is my dear husband's 44th birthday. I'm reminded that it was four years ago today that we woke up for the first time in our new townhouse, sans furniture, sans children, and then we jetted off to Las Vegas for the weekend! Times have surely changed... :)
Evan's first reaction to Uncle Tom was to burst into tears! But he warmed up to him by the end of the first evening. Which is, by the way, the traditional night before Thanksgiving spaghetti dinner. He took to Aunt Wendy right away...
Tyler spent much of the evening pretty close to Mitch. I think he was a little overwhelmed by the amount of people that first night.
Nothing more secure than Daddy's lap and a beat-up copy of "Goodnight Gorilla"!
After naps at the hotel (the boys did some seriously good napping over the weekend - much better than they ever do at home!!), we headed back to my sister's house for the feast.
Here's me with my sibs... already feeling fine from the wine...
Good looking bird, eh? It was quite tasty too. Evan thoroughly enjoyed his ground up turkey, the squash and the mashed potatoes on his first Thanksgiving!

Don't know what that white glint is in his mouth - I suspect the flash hit his saliva just right. It's not a weird tooth, just so you know!

I think he suckered everyone out of their quarters so he could ride it several times!

I wish I'd gotten more pictures of everyone there, but I guess I was too busy talking!!
Tyler really dug the tractor toy.... and Isabelle the dog, who was quite tolerant of him...

At the close of the trip, I think it is safe to say that a good time was had by all!

Note the crocs and socks again - but at least this time he kept his pants on!!!

When evening finally arrived, we learned what happens to tired little boys when they don't take naps during the day....
They fall asleep in their chicken and veggies!!!
